Here it is found that single authorship is 66.7%, two authorships is 26.45%, three authorship is 5.68%, four authorship is 0.97% and six authorship is 0.06%. So we can say that single authorship is dominating in the field of LIS research.

Vedic mathematics is long been known but has not been implemented in the DSP and ADSP processors employing large number of multiplications in calculating the various transforms like FFTs and IFFTs. Presents a novel Vedic multiplier architecture combined with fast carry approach in order to minimize the critical path delay and thus make a high-speed multiplier. Sequential digit by digit manipulation can be carried in parallel. Thus, few steps are needed in multiplication. The suggested approach was simulated and the speed was found to be greater than the standard array multiplier and hence serves as an alternative approach for multiplication.

Libraries have continued to develop the education programs ranging from the literacy campaign, functional literacy and library instruction to information literacy. The rapid change of digital environment has influenced to the provision of information services. Library and information professionals has developed and redesigned the user education program. Various issues involved have been presented in order to clarify the concept of information literacy. Especially the issue of information technology should be integrated into the information literacy. It's not important only the competency of information but the skill of tools for handling information is also more significant. However, the competency of information technology cannot help user access to information successfully without the knowledge of information. In this situation the users must understand both the information itself and technology as tools for accessing information.

Academic libraries have always aimed to fulfill their research objectives and ambitions by using any means at their disposal, particularly in these times when there is shift from traditional library services to digital library services, so long as they can satisfy their clientele. The attempt to provide digital library services is exemplified by the J. D. Rockefeller Research Library at Egerton University, Kenya, Paper discusses digital research libraries, reasons, advantages and disadvantages of digitization. It also provides the development of the research library studied and types of clients who are beneficiaries of the services. It proffers a general overview of both the information resources and services given. Ultimately, it concludes that the essence of the digital research library is to cater for the information needs of researchers in specific fields of specialization.

Data mining is a form of artificial intelligence that uses automated processes to find information. Although its use in libraries is to be explored, data mining has been used successfully for several years in the scientific and business communities for tracking behavior of individuals and groups, processing medical information, and a number of other applications. This system has been designed for librarians to help them manage the library easily. Applied data mining to library systems which is known as bibliomining. Unfortunately, few libraries have taken advantage of these data as a way to improve customer service, manage acquisition budgets or influence strategic decision making about uses of information in their organizations. Presents initially data mining, then a short application of data mining in libraries (bibliomining), and the variety of decisions that those data can inform. Describes ways in which library and information managers can use data mining in their libraries, i.e., bibliomining, to understand patterns of behavior among library users and staff members and patterns of information resource use throughout the institution.
