The failure times of all components in the complex system follow Weibull/exponential distribution. A coefficient inequality for a new class of harmonic multivalent functions is derived and is found to be a sufficient condition for harmonic multivalent functions to belong to this class. This condition is shown to be also necessary for a subclass of the new class introduced here. Certain other properties of the subclass are also obtained.

We also prove that the uniformly strongly equiprime radical P_use(N) coincides with P_use(L)⁺, where P_use(L) is the uniformly strongly equiprime radical of the left operator nearing L of N.

In this paper, present recent results on infinite dimensional Laplacians. In particular, by introducing an operator which transfers from regular white noise functionals into functionals of exponential white noise, authors give a relationship between an infinite dimensional Fourier-Gauss transform and the Levy Laplacian. The operator implies a Gauss-Poisson correspondence if we consider the Levy Laplacian acting on generalized multiple Wiener integrals by a Levy process.

For natural numbers m, n, r such that m ≥ 2 and r < m, denoting by F(m, r)(n) and f(m, r) (n) respectively, the number of partitions of n into parts and distinct parts ≡ ± r (mod m), derived a formula that expresses f_{(m, r)}(n) in terms of p(n), the partition function, as well as a recurrence for f_{(m, r)} (n). Also derived a recurrence for F_(m,r)(n)- If m = 2r, then F_{(m, r)}(n) denotes the number of partitions of n into parts ≡ r (mod 2r). We obtain an explicit formula for F_{(4, 2)}(n), which yields a new recurrence for p(n).

Analytical study is performed to examine the effects of chemical reaction and radiation on unsteady free convective flow over a moving vertical plate with mass transfer in the presence of magnetic field. The fluid considered here is gray, absorbing/emitting radiation but a non-scattering medium. The plate temperature is raised linearly with time t and the concentration level near the plate is raised to C'_w. The dimensionless governing equations are solved using the Laplace transform technique. Results for velocity, temperature, concentration, skin friction, the rate of heat transfer and the rate of mass transfer are shown graphically. The results are discussed in terms of the parameters M (the magnetic field parameter), G_r (the thermal Grashof number), G_m (the mass Grashof number), R (the radiation parameter), P_r (the prandtl number), S_c (the Schmidt number) and K (chemical reaction parameter).
