Behaviour of slip parameter on the flow formation through a straight channel bounded by two parallel walls when an incompressible conducting liquid is flowing in presence of an applied transverse uniform magnetic field in a rotating system has been studied, by restricting the analysis to the case of non-conducting channel walls only. Exact solution have been obtained for both (primary and secondary) as well as the induced magnetic field distributions. Also, their corresponding diagrams are plotted. It has been observed that, the tendency of the distribution is to decrease at any point of the channel with an increase in slip parameter at a certain range (small values) and increases there after with further increase of this parameter.

The organ system receives an input (adrenalin secretion) over time according to a non-decreasing continuous time stochastic process Z = {z (t), t ≥ 0} and z(t) is the cumulative input up to time t. At epochs T₁ <60> T₂, <60> T₃ <60> .... the quantities accumulated are instantaneously cleared.

The antigenic diversity threshold level is one at which the breakdown of the immune system occurs leading to seroconversion. Several authors have attempted the estimation of E(T) and its variance, assuming the threshold distribution as exponential satisfying the LMP property. The threshold distribution is assumed to be gamma which does not satisfy the LMP property. The expression for E(T) and its variance arederived. Numerical illusrations are also furnished.

Attempt has been made to provide a methodology to obtain an optimum solution for a Transportation problem with two objectives. The objectives taken in the account are minimization of time, and minimization of cost ratio for completing a job. An algorithm has been provided, which consists of two phases. to obtain the optimum value of each objective function in each phase respectively. A numerical illustration has been presented to clarify the steps involve in the algorithm and to check the validity of the proposed methodology.

Analysis of the convective flow of water at 4°C near an infinite vertical plate in a rotating system is carried out here in this paper.The governing partial differential equations are solved usingfinite difference technique and boundary layer velocity components have been evaluated. The absolute, primary and secondary velocities are represented graphically and skin friction components are presented in tabular form. The influence of rotation and Grash of number on the temporal and spatial variations of these physical quantities have been discussed.
