Text on the internet is written in different languages and scripts, and a language identification system is used to analyze and identify them. To improve the performance of text language identification, this paper proposes a three-stage short text language identification algorithm. The script of a given text is identified in the first stage of the algorithm. The language group to which it belongs, consisting of languages written in the same script, is identified in the second stage. In the third stage, the specific language of the given text is recognized from within the language group. Experimental results showed that our proposed method improves the accuracy of text language identification systems stage by stage, reduces the time and the size of the feature set needed to make a prediction, and achieves optimal accuracy.

This paper proposes a fast plagiarism detection algorithm in large-scale data. Plagiarisms of superficial descriptions, such as “copy and paste”, can be detected using a simple document similarity based on string matching. The algorithm reduces the effort for computing the document similarity by approximating the similarity. The effects of the approximation on the processing time and accuracy are evaluated by conducting experiments with a data set generated from practical scholarly documents. The experimental results show that the algorithm based on the approximated similarity can reduce the processing time of the straightforward algorithm based on the exact similarity to less than one-third in exchange for a slight decrease of the accuracy.

Wireless sensor network is a new information acquisition and processing technology. A large number of sensor nodes form a network through self-organization including each node integrates sensing unit, processing unit, communication unit and energy supply. The protocol multicast technology of wireless sensor network routing is a means of group communication, which requires information from the source node at the same time sent to multiple destination nodes, routing as the core technology of multimedia networks, its scope of study is extensive, including routing protocols, routing strategy and routing algorithms. In this paper, we mainly study the multicast routing algorithm which is based on Quality of Service (QoS), and introduce the search strategy which is based on the shortest path of pheromone in the process of ant colony feeding. MATLAB ant colony algorithm is also used in the WSN routing protocol multicast problem in the application of the problem solving for local optimization. The result of computer simulation shows that the ant colony algorithm has a better effect on solving the multicast protocol of WSN, and the algorithm can realize the fast positioning and query of wireless sensor network routing nodes.

Tobacco quality and production are widely affected by - 2 - diseases in both nursery and field crop. The yield losses due to diseases can be as high as 50% depending on the type and intensity of disease(s). Primary diseases affecting the tobacco are frog-eye spot, brown spot, black shank, damping-off, wilt, root-knot, mosaic and leaf curl diseases. An accurate and rapid diagnosis can help to take up appropriate and timely corrective measures and thus minimize yield losses. However, the end users are not able to utilize the available information developed by scientists. Symptoms of some diseases may sometimes be similar to nutritional disorders and hence confusing. Information technology created new vistas of scientific information, social interaction and communication. Based on information technology, Web based expert system on various diseases of tobacco, symptoms and their management was developed and linked to "Agridaksh" managed by IASRI for providing global access. The diseases on tobacco were classified into minor and major in both nursery and field crop and the database was designed in tree structure. The system has two different methods for disease diagnosis. The first method uses rule based inference (information system) and the second method uses ontology. The former is text based while the latter also shows pictures with the text. In both the approaches the user enters into the question-answer session with the system and at the end of the session, a particular tobacco disease is identified and its images get displayed online. Under this system, a knowledge model has been created in such a way that includes a knowledge acquisition, ontology based problem identification and a knowledge retrieval system for tobacco diseases. This system is useful to enhance the capacity of farmers, agricultural extension personnel and tobacco crop development agencies for tobacco disease management to increase crop yield. The expert system developed is of great utility as it brings disease symptoms and damage on tobacco and their management to a single platform.

Based on the hypothesis that in all states of flux (including demographic flux), as in all liquids, the phenomenon of cavitation appears when the local (or demographic) pressure decreases below the vaporization value (the demographic point of survival) respectively, under the saturation pressure (defined by the fertility rate), at the given temperature of gases (general demographic conditions), dissolved in the liquid. This paper presents and analyses cavitation phenomenon as a powerful, rather than merely a potential, demographic model. The structure of this paper could be considered as a succinct three-section solution to describe the evolution from the demographical explosion of the entire world to the demographical implosion of the whole of Europe during the next three or four decades, in a number of population trends. Some final remarks underline the importance of cavitation model and its applied version in demographic implosion, as well as evaluation of the risk of cavitation and computation of cavitation coefficients in demography.

The growth of an ageing population and demand for telemedicine have rendered, biomicroelectromechanical systems (BioMEMS) as one of the internationally recognized prospective research areas. Previous studies have mostly emphasized on specific BioMEMS technology or the market application of such technology. However, these studies have not actively identified the key technology of BioMEMS and have not determined the technology development trend in recent years. In the present study, BioMEMS patents were used as a basis of analysis to build a technology network and conduct network analysis. The results showed that key BioMEMS technologies mainly comprised chemical containers, measurements, printed circuits and medical diagnoses. Therefore, BioMEMS technology is applicable to not only one technical field, but multiple technical fields. However, recent technological development has mainly emphasized medical diagnostic measuring technology rather than mature technologies such as chemical containers or printed circuits. An analysis of patent holders reveals that institutions which have developed BioMEMS technology for a relatively long period of time are public or semipublic agencies, indicating that government funding and support are necessary in the early phase of BioMEMS development. This study constructed a model of a patent technology network to investigate the development trend of BioMEMS technology.

Association rule mining is the recent research area in data mining. Frequent Itemset Mining techniques is one of the prominent techniques in pattern mining. In this system frequent itemset mining is used to find the frequent amino acids patterns in Dengue Virus Type1 data set. This system uses an integration of Transaction Reduction and Random Sampling (TRRS) approach to identify the frequent patterns in Dengue Virus Type1 amino acids sequence. Our system reveals the association between the amino acids. Our System first identifies the number of amino acids sequences suitable for each transaction and finds the number of association rules using Transaction Reduction and Random Sampling methods by varying the sample size. Experimental results show that the performance of our proposed Transaction Reduction and Random Sampling Algorithm(TRRS) works efficiently when compared to Apriori algorithm, FP Growth algorithm, Two Dimensional Transaction Reduction(TDTR) Algorithm Improved TDTR algorithm, Set Oriented Mining (SETM) algorithm and Improved SETM Algorithm (ISETM) in terms of number of association rules generated and the time taken to generate the association rules.

A global trend nowadays is shifting the attention from the overall university ranking towards the ranking in a particular scientific field: "Ranking by Subject" and/or "Field Ranking". The objective of the research presented in this paper is the review of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) aspect of the universities performance. The major concern of the study is the uncertainty and sensitivity of ICT field ranking, regarding the weighting scheme of a particular ranking methodology. The paper thus examines the ICT field-based section of the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) and URAP rankings and gives a detailed comparison of the stability of these ranking methods. According to the results, URAP ICT ranking is shown to be more stable than QS ICT ranking, with a lower level of uncertainty and sensitivity to different model assumptions. Moreover, we gave an overview of particular standings of Indian universities in both QS and URAP ICT rankings, tackling the issue of the uncertainty and sensitivity of their positions.

The White Devil and The Duchess of Malfi, in these two tragedies, he reveals himself as great dramatist, and his power to grip the imagination by subtle suggestions. Both these plays present a study in revenge-a subject dear to the heart of the Elizabethan dramatists. Webster used psychological approach to characters, pessimism, satirical intent and humanity in sense of pathos in his plays. That plays are value of men and women have been plunged into and also struggled against wickedness have been the object of his study. Webster's reputation rests on The White Devil and The Duchess of Malfi. Opinions differ as to which is the better. The Duchess of Malfi would probably be if votes were taken but for freshness and intensity of passion the white devil could be regarded as Webster's masterpiece.
