An SIS model is developed to describe the dispersal between two populations. We give the basic reproduction number R₀, which characterizes the disease transmission dynamics: if R₀ <60> 1, then there exists only the disease-free equilibrium which is globally asymptotically stable; and if R₀ <62> 1, then there is a disease endemic equilibrium and the disease persists. Numerical simulations show that the level of coupling is sensitive to the length of the infectious period and the movement rates.

The object of this paper is to establish two theorems for the generalized fractional differentiation of the product of a general class of polynomials and H -function. The considered generalized fractional differentiation operators contain the Appell function F₃ [2, p. 224, Eq. 5.7.1(8)] as a kernel and are introduced recently by Saigo and Maeda [14, p. 393]. It has been shown that the generalized fractional derivatives of the product of a general class of polynomials and H -function are transformed into other H -function but of greater order. On account of the general nature of the Saigo-Maeda operators, H -function and a general class of polynomials a large number of new and known results follow as special cases of our main findings. Some interesting special cases involving various special functions notably generalized Wright hypergeometric function, generalized Wright-Bessel function, the poly-logarithm, generalized Riemann Zeta function and Whittaker function are also presented.

A comprehensive numerical study is presented for the fully developed two-dimensional flow of viscous incompressible fluid through a curved duct with square cross section. Numerical calculations are carried out over a wide range of the Dean number 100 ≤ Dn ≤ 6500 for the curvature δ = 0.5. A temperature difference is applied across the vertical sidewalls for the Grashof number Gr - 100, where the outer wall is heated and the inner one cooled. Spectral method is used as a basic tool to solve the system of non-linear differential equations. After a compressive survey over the parametric ranges, two branches of asymmetric steady solutions with two- and four-vortex solutions are obtained by the Newfon-Raphson iteration method. Then, in order to investigate the non-linear behavior of the unsteady solutions, time evolution calculations as well as power spectrum of the solutions are obtained, and it is found that the steady-state flow turns into periodic flow through chaotic flows if Dn is increased up to 6115. For large Dean numbers Dn <62> 6065, however, the unsteady flow undergoes through various flow instabilities if, Dn is increased gradually.

With the graph theory, we design the network of non-loop graph with minimum number of arcs when traversing all nodes. Minimum spanning tree (MST) algorithm was applied to minimize the connection cost and allocate non-hub nodes to the located hubs. Used MATLAB tools to analyse data instances and conclude the effectiveness of the model proposed by minimum spanning tree (MST) algorithm.

The theory of Nystrom method was adopted in the derivation of the method. The method has an implicit structure for efficient implementation and produces simultaneously approximation of the solution of Special Third Order IVPs at a block of four points x_n+i (i = 1, 2, 3, 4). The proposed method was tested with Numerical experiment to illustrate its efficiency and the method can be extended to solve higher order differential equations.

Frequency equations are derived for the radial vibrations in a micro-isotropic, micro-elastic hollow sphere. It is interesting to observe that two additional frequencies are found which are not encountered in classical theory of elasticity. The result of the classical case is obtained as a particular case of it.

Ballester-Bolinches and Guo showed that a finite group G is 2-nilpotent if G satisfies: (1) a Sylow 2-subgroup P of G is quaternion-free and (2) Ω₁ (P ∩ G') ≤ Z(P) and N_G(P) is 2-nilpotent. In this paper, it is obtained that G is a non-2-nilpotent group of order I6q for an odd prime q satisfying (1) a Sylow 2-subgroup P of G is not quaternion-free and (2) Ω₁ (P ∩ G') ≤ Z(P) and N_G(P) is 2-nilpotent if and only if q = 3 and G ≅ GL₂(3).

Eular sequence space e_p^r of non-absolute type, recently studied by Altay B., and Basar F., and Mursaleen [4]. In this paper, we introduce the space e_p^r(u), we show its completeness property, prove that the space e_p^r (u) and l (p) are linearly isomorphic and compute their α-, β- and γ-duals. Furthermore construct the basis of e_p^r (u). Finally we characterize the classes, (e₁^r (u): l_p) and (e_p^r (u): f) of infinite matrices.

In this paper, connectedness of strength k between two distinct vertices of a fuzzy graph, weight matrix of a fuzzy graph, strength of a fuzzy graph, strong path, extra strong path and strength of connectivity of a fuzzy graph are introduced. The strength of various fuzzy graphs such as paths, fuzzy graphs which are not fuzzy cycles, the complete fuzzy graph and regular graph on a cycle are determined in terms of order of the graph. We proved that the strength of connectivity of the graph is the strength of the graph.

Let (S, ; ≤) be an ordered semigroup and m, n be non-negative integers. Then S is said to be (m, n) -regular if for x ∈ S there exists y ∈ S such that x ≤ x^myxⁿ (x⁰y = yx⁰ = x). A subsemigroup A of S is called an (m, n-ideal of S if (1)] A^m SAⁿ ⊆ A(A⁰S = SA⁰ = S) and (2) for x ∈ A and y ∈ S, if y ≤ x, then y ∈ A. Authors give some characterizations of (m, n) -regular ordered semigroups based on (m, n) -ideals. Similar results on semigroups without order have been done by Krgovic [4].

Study the general nature of the group generated by the symmetries of regular n-sided polygon D_n, described as a simple non-abelian finite group. The two symmetry elements r (rotation) and f (reflection) generates the group D_n, and by characterizing r as preserving the ordering of vertices and f as reversing the ordering, the conjugate frf- also preserves the ordering, resulting to rotation. The symmetries r and f also partitioned the group in to two disjoint sets N (of order n) and S (of order n), and every subgroup of D_n is either cyclic or dihedral. The set N is a cyclic group, and each element r ∈ N described the left action of N on the set S, where N-S = S. Moreover, from the relation r^-1 =frf^-1, we have seen that any group with properties resembling D_n is a homomorphic image of D_n, and is isomorphic to D_n if and only if it has the same size with D_n. And if G is any group generated by two elements x and y where xⁿ= 1 for some n ≥3, y² = 1, and yxy^-1= x^-1, then there is a subjective homomorphism D_n → G. And if O(G) = 2n, then this homomorphism is an isomorphism. And finally, any nontrivial homomorphic image of a dihedral group is dihedral.
