Author gave a very natural and numerical real inversion formula of the Laplace transform for general L₂ data following the ideas of best approximations, generalized inverses, the Tikhonov regularization and the theory of reproducing kernels used the Sinc functions (the Sinc method) to general theory, to solve the related integral equation. However, the new method in this paper for the real inversion formula will be reduced to the solution of linear simultaneous equations. This real inversion formula may be expected to be practical to calculate the inverses of the Laplace transform by computers when the real data contain noise or errors. Illustrated examples and justification of computational work has been provided.

The discount can be afforded if a known minimum amount of the product is procured. The orders are to be placed at the beginning of periods with instantaneous replenishment and backlogging is allowed. To find the optimal ordering policy a single period setup has been considered with strictly convex cost function in stock height (or order quantity) for fixed procurement price. Under this setup a theorem has been derived subject to the conditions that the cost function is increasing and optimal stock height (or order quantity) is non increasing in procurement cost when other factors are constant.

Thus, the construction of a biorthogonal system is of interest in Computational Mathematics. Among various models employed for pattern representation and analysis, the array grammar has attracted more and more attention because it has several advantages over others. Two new models, regular iso-array grammar (RIAG) and basic puzzle iso-array grammar (BPIAG) using triangular tiles for generating sets of images where an image can be viewed as an array over finite alphabet are proposed show that BPIAG has higher generative power than RIAG and it properly includes RTAG Authors study the closure properties of BPIAG. More images can be generated using these models when compared with the earlier models. They also introduce non overlapping basic puzzle iso-array grammar. The emptiness problem for non-overlapping basic puzzle iso-array grammar is shown to be decidable. Hierarchy among the various classes of puzzle iso-array languages is also established.

In most of the inventory models with trade credit, it is assumed that the supplier would offer a credit period to the retailer but the retailer in turn would not offer any credit period to his customers, which is termed as one stage credit policy, but this type of credit policy is debatable in most business transactions. As in reality, most of the retailer's do offer the credit period to his customers in order to stimulate their demand. Such a situation where both the supplier as well as the retailer offers the credit period to their respective customers is known as two-stage credit policy. Although the presence of credit period has been incorporated in many inventory models but the impact of credit period on demand is unfortunately ignored. In reality, it is observed that demand of an item does depend upon the length of the credit period as well as price offered by the retailer. In order to incorporate this phenomenon, an inventory model has been developed, considering that the retailer's sales are divided in two categories (i) on cash, (which is price sensitive) and (ii) on credit, (which is a function of customer's credit period and price). A solution procedure is provided for determining the retailer's optimal price and cycle length simultaneously. Finally, the results have been validated by numerical example.

Also used these relations for symmetric polynomials to give a complete description of all nice symmetric polynomials with four roots by finding an explicit formula and counting the number of equivalence classes of such nice polynomials. Author gave a necessary, but not sufficient, condition that nice symmetric polynomials with four roots with the first in derivatives having integer roots must satisfy. To conclude, author state several open-problems about nice polynomials with four roots and about higher-order derivatives of nice symmetric polynomials with four roots.

Radiation effects on natural convection heat and mass transfer past an inclined surface is investigated using Lie group analysis. Symmetries found reduce the partial differential equations governing the fluid motion to a system of ordinary differential equations with appropriate boundary conditions. Numerical solution obtained using the fourth order Runge-Kutta scheme with shooting method shows that the thermal and concentration boundary layer thicknesses are decreased on increasing the thermal Grashof number and Schmidt number but both thicknesses are increased by increasing the solutal Grashof number. Also it is observed that the velocity and temperature of the fluid increases with the radiation parameter and concentration decreases with increasing the radiation parameter.

Levine studied the commutivity of interior and closure operators in unital topological spaces. In this paper author extend this property to bitopological spaces and characterize their properties by using various types of interior and closure operators in bitopological spaces. AIso characterise this property in extremally disconnected spaces.

Load dependent Tandem Queueing Model with two nodes to the communication network with the integrated data/voice packetised statistical multiplexing are developed and applied. In integrated packet networks data/voice is transmitted using efficient statistical multiplexing. One of the several congestion control methods used in such networks is load dependent transmission. The performance of statistical multiplexing is measured by approximating the arrival and service processes with Poisson process which is chosen such that several of the statistical characteristics of communication network identically matches with the Poisson process. Using the difference differential equations the performance meaªsures like, the joint probability generating function of two buffers, the average buffer size, the variability of the buffer content etc, are derived under transient conditions. It is observed that load dependent transmission can reduce the delays in transmission and enhance the channel capacity. This network is much useful in satellite communications.

Dodge (1967) has proposed a new sampling system, which consists of pairs of normal and tightened plans. Due to instantaneous switching between normal and tightened plan this system is referred as "Quick Switching System". Romboski (1969) has studied QSS-3 (n, C_N, C_T) & (n, kn, C_o) with single sampling plan as reference plans. This paper presents selection of Quick Switching System with Single Sampling Plan as reference plan through relative slopes at various points, on the OC-curve, which describes the degree of steepness about the OC-curve.

A continuous deformation from a C* -algebra ℵ to another β is a continuous field C* -algebra on the closed interval [0, l] with fibers ℵ_t given by ℵ₀ = β and ℵ_t = ℵ for 0 <60> t ≤1, and authors denote it by Eℵ=Γ([0, 1], {ℵ_t}_t∈}[0, 1]) (see Dixmier [2] and Blackadar [1]). See also [3]. In this paper authors consider continuous deformations for C* -algebra extensions in some cases. Our first intention for this is to study relativecontinuous deformations for C* -algebras with closed (two-sided) ideals. It seems to have not been considered in the literature. More cases could be considered.
