Heat transfer under the influence of radiation and viscous dissipation in a square cavity divided into different portions filled with saturated porous medium is analyzed. The flow is assumed to follow the Darcy law. The governing equations are nondimensiona.'ised and solved numerically using FEM. Left vertical surface of the square cavity is heated by applying heat 25% portion, 50%, 75%, whole portions respectively. The top and bottom surfaces of the cavity is assumed to be adiabatic. Results are presented in terms of Nusselt number for various parameters such as ration parameter Rayleigh number and viscous dissipation parameter.

The results are consistent and the total downtime distribution model concludes that the NAC decreases the substantial elevation of extracellular DA levels by METH without any change in the basal DA level.

For this problem a computer programme is developed for the algorithm and is tested. It is observed that it takes less time for solving fairly higher dimension problems also. For this problem the definition, notation and algorithm are illustrated with the help of a numerical example.

Circumferential stress is maximum at external surface for circular cylinder, made of orthotropic / isotropic material. Therefore, circular cylinder made of isotropic material is on the safer side of the design as compared to circular cylinder made of orthotropic material.

Study the extended different integral transforms, such as Riemann-Liouville's fractional transform, Weyl fractional transform and a new version of Laplace transform to the Banach space. Number of interrelations in them are established. Parseval-Goldstein type formula for Banach-space valued Widder's potential transform is also developed.

Sampling plans in which items that are put to test, to collect the life of the items in order to decide upon accepting or rejecting a submitted lot, are called reliability test plans. The basic probability model of the life of the product is specified as the well known half logistic distribution. For a given producer's risk, sample size, termination number and waiting time to terminate the test plans are compute. The preferability of the test plan over similar plans existing in the literature is established with respect to cost and time of the experiment.

This paper focused on the network of Queues which are in tandem and in which arrival and departure occur in bulk of a fixed size each with a feed back of the initial service channel. The model has been discussed under poisson assumptions for arrivals and exponential assumptions for service time at each service channel. The steady state solution for the model has been found out and certain Queue parameters helpful in decision-making problems have been calculated using mathematical tools.

A linear stochastic differential equation driven by a mixture of two independent fractional Brownian motions possibly with different Hurst indices is considered and an estimator for the trend parameter is obtained based on the observation of the process up to time T. Distributional properties of this estimator are investigated.
