The labeling of discrete structures is a potential area of research due to its wide range of applications. The present work is focused on one such labeling called odd harmonious labeling. A graph G is said to be odd harmonious if there exist an injection f : V(G) → {0,1, 2, ..., 2q - 1} such that the induced function f* : E(G) → {1, 3,..., 2q - 1} defined by f*(uv) = f(u) + f(v) is a bijection. Here investigated odd harmonious labeling of some graphs. We prove that the shadow graph and the splitting graph of bistar B_n,n are odd harmonious graphs. Moreover we show that the arbitrary supersubdivision of path P_n admits odd harmonious labeling. Also proved that the joint sum of two copies of cycle C_n for n = 0(mod 4) and the graph H_n,n are odd harmonious graphs.

Blood flow through a uniform rigid artery with an axial velocity slip condition at vessel wall has been considered by assuming blood a Casson fluid. An analysis has been made to describe the behaviour of Casson fluid model for blood flow with velocity slip in the presence of magnetic effect. It has been observed that the effect of the Hartmann number and the Reynolds number on the velocity field as well as on the wall shear stress is very prominent and when the Hartmann number and Reynolds number increases, the fluid velocity decreases. It also include Poiseuille fluid models of blood for both slip and no-slip at wall and one-layered Casson fluid model and no slip at tube wall as its special cases. Role of slip in influencing the flow variables and physiological implications of this theoretical modeling are discussed in brief.

To partition these fuzzy data of decision-makers' assessment on an observation or experiment, a proper clustering method is essential and proposed in this paper. In the proposed clustering method, the raw data are presented by fuzzy data and a fuzzy semi-equivalence relation is first constructed to present the binary relation between two fuzzy data. Then, a fuzzy equivalence relation is established by max-min transitive closure from the fuzzy semi-equivalence relation. Based on the fuzzy equivalence relation, the fuzzy data are classified into clusters. The clusters representing the selection preferences of different decision-makers on the data set will be the foundation of developing Decision-maker Relationship Management (DRM).

In the present paper we have found out the expressions for scalar curvature and main scalar of two-dimensional Finsler space obtained by Randers con-formal change of Fⁿ. Level of development of various districts of Haryana state was studied for agricultural, infrastructural, socio-economic sectors and for overall development through composite index of development on 36 development indicators, 18 from agricultural sector, 8 from infrastructural sector and 10 from socio-economic sector. The study utilized data for 19 districts for the year 2007-08. The district Sonipat was ranked first and district Mahendergarh ranked last in agricultural development. With regard to infra-structural sector, the district Mahendergarh was ranked first and the district Kurukshetra ranked last, whereas the district Faridabad ranked first and district Fatehabad ranked last in respect of socio-economic development. The composite indices of these sectors follow normal distribution. The weighted means of the indices followed Beta distribution and used for overall development assessment.

Review of current research emphasizes three strands of literature on social networks. The first strand composed of endogenous network models which highligs the sensitive dependence of the topology on parameters of the behavioral models employed. The second strand draws from the recent econophysics literature reviewing the recent revival of interest in the random graph theory and also allowing a mathematical tool to study social networks. The review explores a number of examples to assess the potential of recent research on random graphs with arbitrary degree distributions. The third strand focuses on a specific model of social networks where random graphs with different dependent edges are present, if edges are incident to the same node, and independent, otherwise. Besides this paper introduces a new graph model helping to design the interconnected model to connect blocks and grampanchayats in PRI system at ease and in turn helping in further progress in computer science. In practice this model is appearing quiet beneficial in network establishment and strongly capable of handling small no of blocks strictly avoiding loss of data resources. The empirical study reveals that this unique dynamic model keeps all the units strongly interconnected. Thus the present paper is attempting to analyze the benefits of the network structure models and concludes with an assessment of observable consequences of optimizing behavior in networks for the purpose of estimation.

The effect of eccentricity has been studied by taking two different ellipses whose major and minor axis are 6, 2 and 6, 4 are investigated for different values of parameters B and C. The Velocity distribution along major axis y = 0 and along the line y=l are studied at t = 10⁴ and 10² and w = 10^-4 for different values of parameter B and C, In all cases velocity found to be maximum along major axis. Velocity found to decrease as we move away from major axis obtaining zero at boundary. Velocity distribution on major axis y = 0 and the line y = 1 are shown graphically for different pressure distributions.

Authors present a mathematical model in the form of system of ordinary differential equations, governing tumor growth and immune cells on a cell population level under the influence of immunotherapy and chemotherapy treatments. The model involves three immunotherapy drugs such as interleukin-2, interferon alpha and tumor infiltrating lymphocytes. Through numerical simulation, we investigate of some strategists in cancer treatment to get better result in controlling tumor growth. Numerical simulations of pure immunotherapy, pure chemotherapy, immunotherapy-chemotherapy, chemotherapy-immunotherapy and mixed immunotherapy-chemotherapy are presented. In the certain case, authors illustrate for which neither pure chemotherapy nor pure immunotherapy is sufficient to control on tumor growth, but in combination of the therapies are better to kill tumor completely.

A subset S of V of a nontrivial graph G is said to be Smarandachely triple connected dominating set, if 5 is a dominating set and the induced sub graph (S) is triple connected. The minimum cardinality taken over all Smarandachely triple connected dominating sets is called the Smarandachely triple connected domination number and is denoted by γ_tc. Determine this number for some standard graphs and obtain bounds for general graphs. Its relationship with other graph theoretical parameters are also investigated.

In this paper an analysis done based on incorporating the logistic -exponential function to Non Homogeneous Poisson Process (NHPP). Experiments are performed on the real data sets; parameters are calculated and observed that this model is best fitted for the data sets. For example, to develop a mathematical model of the therapy effort function and to determine the secretion of aldosterone hormone which is cumulative due to stress and the removal of stress effects follow a NHPP and the mean time number of defects by the stress effect which is proportional to the mean level of remaining stress effects in terms of aldosterone in PHA patients and children with idiopathic short stature during GH therapy and also we find failure intensity function in terms of aldosterone for them.

A new heuristic method of obtaining an initial basic feasible solution (IBFS) to solve a balanced as well as an unbalanced transportation problem is proposed. By increasing the availability at the origin, or requirement of a destination, the given unbalanced transportation problem is converted to make it a balanced one, and then it is solved. Numerical examples to illustrate the suggested new method are also included.

Aim of this problem to investigate the effect of thermal diffusion on a transit free convective flow past an electrically conducting viscous incompressible fluid past an infinite vertical porous plate in a rotating system taking into account the effect of Hall current is presented when the temperature as well as the concentration at the plate varies periodically with time. The fluid with the plate rotates with a constant angular velocity about the normal to the plate. A uniform magnetic field is assumed to be applied along the normal to the plate directed into the fluid region. The magnetic Reynolds number is assumed to be so small that the induced magnetic field can be neglected. The expressions for the temperature, concentration, primary and secondary velocity fields are obtained in non-dimensional form. The velocity fields, temperature distribution, species concentration are demonstrated graphically.

For a connected graph G = (V,E), let a set M be a minimum monophonic hull set of G. A subset T ⊆ M is called a forcing subset for M if M is the unique minimum monophonic hull set containing T. A forcing subset for M of minimum cardinality is a minimum forcing subset of M. The forcing monophonic hull number of M, denoted by f_mh(M), is the cardinality of a minimum forcing subset of M. The forcing monophonic hull number of G, denoted by f_mh (G), is f_mh(G) = min{f_>mh(M)}, where the minimum is taken over all minimum monophonic hull sets in G. Some general properties satisfied by this concept are studied. Every monophonic set of G is also a monophonic hull set of G and so mh(G) ≤ h(G), where h(G) and mh(G) are hull number and monophonic hull number of a connected graph G. However, there is no relationship between f_h(G) and f_mh(G), where f_h(G) is the forcing hull number of a connected graph G. We give a series of realization results for various possibilities of these four parameters.

An evocative and nostalgic evolution of optimal control and its application via brachistochrone problem is presented by Euler-Lagrange equation through brachistochrone problem. The solution of brachistochrone problem by variational approach i.e. Euler-Lagrange equation leads to the curve of a cycloid also known as brachistochrone curve. In this paper the evolution of the optimal control law from the rubrics of variational calculus is presented. Eventually the spectacular and novel application of optimal control law is made for the control of unstable inverted pendulum. It is observed from the viewpoint of oscillations and overshoot of transient response that Linear Quadratic Regulator Optimal Controller (LQROC) outperforms the State Space Pole Placement Technique controller (PPTQ.

This paper investigates solving 0/1 knapsack problem with a Genetic Algorithm (GA) based on some new mutation methods. First method is based on parity encoding. In this way for each n-bit binary sequence of chromosome C_i that is selected for mutation, the parity encoding of this n-bit binary sequence is replaced. In the second method divided in two sub-branches, a substring of chromosome c_i is selected randomly, and then this part is summed with itself on mod 2 or is summed with inverse order of itself on mod 2 and then is replaced with the same place in the chromosome. In the other method, the start of the sequence of chromosome C_i is connected to be mutated to its end to form a cycle. In this cycle, two substrings are considered so that the lengths of them are the same, and then these substrings are summed together on mod 2 and result replaced to the place of one of substrings randomly. Computational experiments are conducted to compare the performance of these new techniques with some commonly used mutation mechanisms found in a standard genetic algorithm for solving 0/1 knapsack problems based on repair mechanism and penalty function.
