This paper discusses the role of investment on dynamics of micro-economic in non-linear financial model with distributed time delay feedback and effect of delay on the dynamics of micro-economic in nonlinear financial model with distributed time delay feedback. The interest rate, investment demand and price index are modelled with the help of saving amount, cost per invest-ment, demand elasticity of commercial markets and the strength of feedback. All these parameters are considered as positive. Using bifurcation theory, bifurcation point and time period are stud-ied for the financial system with distributed time delay feedback. Through numerical methods, it is observed that the value of time bifurcation with time delay feedback in investment increases as investment demand increases, further the time bifurcation increases with the investment demand parameter and strength of time delay feedback in investment demand. It is concluded that the bifur-cation analysis depends on the value of investment demand and also on the strength of time delay feedback parameter.

This result implies a positive answer to a question of Shapira and Weiss for stable lattices and thereby provides another proof of Minkowski's Conjecture on the product of n real non-homogeneous linear forms in n variables for n ≤ 7. Our result is an analogue of Woods' Conjecture which has been proved for n ≤ 9. The analogous problem when B₁1 is also investigated.

Pruritus is the most common symptom secondary to skin diseases. Advances in the fields of neurobiology, immunology and physiology have made it possible for us to understand and unravel the deeper pathophysiological basis of pruritus. This review aims to update our current understanding of the mechanisms and mediators of pruritus. Special attention is paid to endogenous itch mediators particularly newly identified ones like endovanilloids, opioids, neurotrophins, cannabinoids, proteases and cytokines. Various theories explaining the peripheral encoding of itch are reviewed. Multiple neural pathways including the central itch pathways as well as supraspinal processing of itch and brain areas involved in pruritus are highlighted. Apart from peripheral itch mediators, spinal neural receptors are also involved in control of itch and should form part of the development of a novel antipruritic strategy. Further studies are required to fill the lacunae in our current understanding of the pathophysiology of pruritus.

We have also shown that the mean number of HIVs increases at the start but decreases steadily after a latent period.

The purpose of the present paper is to study an asymptotic test procedure for the hypothesis H₀: "a polynomial regression model with a certain degree is true" against H₁: "a polynomial regression model with degree higher than that assumed under H₀ is true", based on set-indexed partial sums (cumulative sums) processes of the least squares residuals (set-indexed PSPLSR). The limit processes of the sequence of the set-indexed PSPLSR under H₀ as well as under H₁ are established by applying the so-called geometric approach of Bischoff [9]. To test the hypothesis, a type of Kolmogorov-Smirnov statistic (KS_n test) is proposed. The finite sample sizes behavior of this test is compared by simulations with that of the test using a type of Cramer-von Mises statistic (CvM_n test) suggested in Xie and MacNeill [24], and the asymptotic approach (F_n test) investigated in Arnold [3, 4]. The simulation for the three tests shows that the empirical probabilities of rejection of H₀ when H₀ holds true attain well the specified level of significance. On the other hand, when H₁ is true, F_n test shows the highest power. Furthermore, the method is applied to a real data obtained from a mining industry provided by PT. Aneka Tambang Tbk., Pomalaa, compiled in Tahir [23].

In this paper, authors derive a new phase fitted Runge-Kutta method hased on the existing classical Runge-Kutta method of order four to solve ordinary differential equations with oscillatory solutions. The new method has the property of zero phase-lag and zero dissipation. Phase-lag or dispersion error is the angle between the true and the approximated solution, whereas dissipation is the distance of the computed solution from the standard cyclic solution. A set of problems are tested upon over a large interval and the numerical results proved that the method is more accurate compared to the classical fourth order Runge-Kutta method.

The concepts of cohypersubstitutions were introduced in [4]. Every cohypersubstitution a of type τ induces a mapping a on the set of all coterms of type T. The set of all cohypersubstitutions of type τ under the binary operation which is defined by σ₁ ° σ₂ : = σ₁ ° σ2 for all σ₁, σ2 ∈ Cohyp(τ) forms a monoid which is called the monoid of cohypersubstitution of type T. In this authors research, characterize all order of Cohyp(τ), where τ = (2).

This paper addresses the weakness of ensemble empirical mode decomposition approach in extracting the components of a time series signal data. In general, this approach provides non-independent component. The existing approach using cluster analysis provided an improvement yet not perfect. We then do a modification to reach components with two main characteristics. First, the components should reflect the true patterns. Second, the components are independent among the others as much as possible. By a small empirical study, we observe the modification we propose produces better results than the existing approaches.
